Yes, InvGate Asset Management includes software deployment for Windows endpoints. The deployment module works with the InvGate Agent and supports up to 5,000 assets per deployment plan. When executing bulk actions directly from asset or software explorers, you can include up to 250 devices per action.
When do software deployment actions execute?
The InvGate Agent checks for deployment tasks every 60 minutes. Once a deployment plan is created, the action will execute within one hour when the agent next checks in. For failed deployments, the default retry interval is also 60 minutes, but this can be adjusted in Config > Software Deployment settings. InvGate can process up to 500 deployments per hour.
What operating systems are supported for software deployment?
Software deployment currently works with Windows endpoints. macOS and Linux deployment capabilities are not currently supported.
What permissions does software deployment run with?
Software deployment executes with SYSTEM privileges on Windows, providing full administrative rights on the target computer. The execution permissions cannot be customized or changed to run as a specific user.
