Asset Management logs every property change on a CI, but the log only captures what changed and who clicked "Save." Enable Governance under "Settings > CI General > Governance" to require a reason, an authorized approver, and an effective date before any critical property change on a Database CI is saved. The record is locked once submitted. From v3.18 onwards on all plans. Cloud and on-premises.

Document templates now let you choose how the header, table, and footer share the page. Select "Show once and let the content flow" and the footer expands to fit as many rows as you need, whether that is 5 lines or 12 legal clauses. The asset table adjusts to the actual number of assets, with no empty rows. The previous fixed layout is still available. From v3.18 onwards on all plans.

Containers, Kubernetes clusters, and serverless functions running in AWS no longer stay invisible to your inventory. Three new Cloud Asset types, ECS and EKS clusters and Lambda functions, arrive with key metadata and their relationships to VPC, subnets, and security groups. From v3.20 onwards on all plans.

Two new properties are available for JAMF-synced devices: "Is supervised" and "JAMF last inventory." Both appear in the device profile, as columns in Asset Explorer, and as filters. From v3.18 onwards on all plans.

Migrating contract data from another tool, or assigning a license to an employee, directly from the API. The public API now creates, retrieves, and deletes asset or software contracts, including endpoints for user-named license assignments and adding software to an existing contract. From v3.19 onwards on Pro and Enterprise plans.
