What’s new at InvGate Asset Management

Assign an owner to any cloud asset from its profile. Say an AWS EC2 instance goes down: you open it, see the owner, and know who to call. Tags work the same way: mark that instance as "production" or "finance team," and filter, automate, or query by it across the explorer. From v3.14 onwards on all plans.

Organizations in the Dominican Republic can now set DOP as the instance currency and record asset financial values in local currency. Available in Settings. From v3.15 onwards on all plans.

Open any computer, switch, router, or database and the end-of-support date is already there, pulled automatically from manufacturer sources. Coverage includes Dell and Lenovo computers, HP and other major brands, network hardware like switches and routers, and databases including PostgreSQL and SQL Server. Use it to build dashboards that show which devices are aging out this year, set up smart tags for assets approaching end of support, or trigger automations before a vendor stops renewing coverage. Log in and find recommendations waiting for you, based on what's actually in your instance: assets with no owner, no location, or no purchase cost; antivirus, firewall, or encryption disabled; devices that haven't reported in over a week; expired warranties; sustained high CPU or RAM; and more. Each recommendation shows the affected assets, explains why it matters, and takes you directly to where you fix it. Recommendations are scoped to your permissions, so you only see what you can act on. No setup required. From v3.13 onwards on all plans.

Inside any Business Application diagram, select a CI and activate suggestion mode. Get a list of related configuration items already detected by your Agent, discovery scans, and asset properties. Accept or skip each one individually to build accurate dependency maps from real data. Early access from v3.13 onwards on Pro and Enterprise plans.

A new workflow step in InvGate Service Management lets you trigger a software deployment directly from a request, using packages already configured in Asset Management. Results (successful, partial, or failed) are available as workflow conditions to route the request accordingly. When manually merging two assets, the resulting record now consolidates all linked Service Management requests and notes from both, so no historical data is lost. Requires Asset Management v3.13 and Service Management v8.13 with the integration enabled on both sides. Pro and Enterprise plans. Cloud only at launch.
