Microsoft SQL Server database discovery
Automatically detect SQL Server database instances across your environment. This supports audit readiness, reduces manual tracking, and improves visibility into critical infrastructure. Early access from v3.4 onwards, general availability from v3.11.
→ Configure in Settings > Network > Discovery Sources > SQL Server.
→ You'll love it if you need to map application dependencies or prove compliance with database-level audit requirements.
Create Chromebooks and VMware ESXi manually
Add "Storage Available (%)" to automation emails
Include available storage percentage directly in automation email content using the new {COMPUTER_AVAILABLE_STORAGE_PERCENTAGE} variable. Send low-storage alerts, trigger proactive maintenance emails, or generate device health reports with actionable context. From v3.4 onwards. Pro and above.
→ You'll love it if you want to prevent outages caused by full disks before users start complaining.
New filter options across explorers
Two new filter operators are now available. "Is not in subnet range" for IP addresses helps identify assets outside expected network segments, useful for detecting devices on unexpected VLANs. "This week" for date filters lets you quickly find CIs or changes from Monday to Sunday, reducing manual date selection. From v3.4 onwards.
→ Try them to automate alerts and Monday status reports.

Automatically discover PostgreSQL databases
A new discovery source detects PostgreSQL database instances. Discovered databases are created and updated as CIs under the new Databases family. This supports audit readiness, reduces manual tracking, and improves visibility into critical infrastructure components. Early access from v3.3 onwards.
→ You’ll love it if you haven’t been doing database inventory because it’s time consuming.
USB Printers Autodiscovery
Now includes configuration controls to decide which computers can automatically convert detected USB printers into assets and which require manual confirmation. From v3.3 onwards.
→ You’ll love it if you have a large printer infrastructure.
Link Zendesk tickets to assets
Asset Management can integrate to Zendesk and link it to assets using a configurable identifier. Asset profiles show ticket counts and basic details for open and closed cases. From v3.2 onwards.
→ You’ll love it if asset support history is split between tools.
Manage contracts for Cloud Software
You can now create contracts for manually tracked cloud software such as Zoom, Slack, or HubSpot. Teams can upload a CSV with their subscriptions to create the cloud software, then create a linked contract. Contract quantities and key data are mirrored from the software record and update automatically when the software is refreshed with a new CSV. This keeps subscription and contract data aligned without maintaining it in two places. From v3.2 onwards.
→ You’ll love it if SaaS subscriptions are already managed in spreadsheets and keeping contracts in sync is a constant pain.
Reporting enhancement: Show computer usage over time
Standardized usage metrics for computers, including days used, total usage time, and median daily usage across 7, 15, and 30 day periods. Metrics are sortable, filterable, exportable, and include a daily usage view per device. From v3.3 onwards.
→ You’ll love it if you need to provide evidence for compliance reasons.
Trigger deployments directly from assets
Deployment actions can now be triggered directly from the Assets explorer, Software explorer, or asset profile, without creating tags, packages, or plans first. From v3.2 onwards.
→ You’ll love it if you’d been postponing remediation.
Control access to vendor information
Vendor records are now governed by access control rules, allowing teams to define view, create, and edit permissions, with improved filters and navigation. From v3.2 onwards.
→ You’ll love it if you manage granular vendor information.
Notify managers when assets are affected
Automations can now include the asset owner’s direct manager as an email recipient, following the same rules as the owner. From v3.2 onwards.
→ You’ll love it if you need to scale issues via automations.

Chain of Custody
Each asset now displays a quick view of recent owner, location, and status changes directly in the asset profile. One click takes you to the full history. From v3.0.
→ You’ll love it if compliance has become a recurring headache.
Vendor Management and Insights: Public API and CMDB
Vendors are now a full CI type with support for CMDB relationships, dashboards, automations, and the Public API. This centralizes vendor data and aligns it with assets, contracts, and procurement information. From v3.1.
→ You’ll love it if you need a single source of truth for vendor data across procurement, contracts, and CMDB processes.
Windows Updates Catalog
A dedicated Windows Updates Explorer is now available with prioritization, timelines, and dashboards. It centralizes visibility into updates and helps maintain compliance. From v3.0.
→ You’ll love it if you track patch compliance across Windows devices.
Bulk Cloud Subscription Updates with CSV
You can now update Cloud Software subscriptions in bulk using CSV. From v3.1.
→ You’ll love it if you’ve been postponing the migration of your subscriptions into Asset Management.
Export Business Applications Diagrams
You can now export any diagram as SVG or PNG in one step. This makes it easy to share architecture views with teams or auditors. From v3.1.
→ You’ll love it if you need to collaborate outside your team or tool.
USB Printer Auto-Discovery
USB printers are now automatically detected when connected to devices running the Agent. Convert them into assets automatically or manually. From v3.1.
→ You’ll love it if you want complete peripheral inventory coverage.
Assisted Relationship Suggestions for VM–ESXi–vCenter in the CMDB

→ You’ll love it if you manage multiple cloud providers and large subscription lists.
Enhanced Explorers
Explorers are now faster and more flexible, connecting all your Configuration Item information with reports, dashboards, and automations. You can rearrange and resize columns, choose which fields to display, filter data, switch to card view, and edit assets without leaving the screen. From v2.51 onwards.
→ You’ll love it if you’re a power user.

Cloud Software Creation and Management
Introducing a new type of CI: Cloud Software. You can now manually represent and manage SaaS applications, even without a native integration. Define subscription plans, assign users, and view all active subscriptions in user profiles. This gives you a unified view of SaaS usage across the organization. From v2.46 onwards in.
→ You'll love it if you were struggling to centralize and manage subscriptions.
Add Last Logged User to Computers endpoint
The /Computers public API endpoint now includes the “last_logged_user” property, allowing you to see who last logged into a device for better tracking and security. Available from v2.45 for Pro & Enterprise plans.
→ You'll love it if you want to use our API for advanced tracking and usage for audits, security checks, or risk assessments.
GDPR Compliance: Right to be Forgotten
Admins can now fully anonymize former employees’ data directly in the platform, meeting GDPR’s Right to be Forgotten requirements. This process deactivates the account, removes personally identifiable information, and replaces mentions in logs, helping protect privacy and ensure compliance.
→ You'll love it if you operate in Europe and/or need to comply with GDPR.
Enhancement Integration Alert: Google Workspace
Access more properties for Chromebooks and phones reported by Google Workspace and filter which devices are added based on their Google status. Available from v2.45 onwards.
