What’s new at InvGate Asset Management

Purchase Orders are now a native CI type in Asset Management. Create and manage POs with tabs for details, line items, shipping, and financials, then bulk-create assets from a PO on delivery and link them automatically. From v3.12 onwards. Cost Centers build on this: organize them in a parent-child hierarchy, link them to assets, contracts, and POs, assign them to users, and track every change through the activity log. SOTI MobiControl is an MDM platform used to manage and monitor mobile and endpoint fleets. Configure it under "Settings > Network > Discovery Sources" to automatically import and sync all managed devices into Asset Management: Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS. Set which device types to sync and what to do when a device leaves SOTI. From v3.17 onwards on all plans.

People records are now part of IGAM's RBAC system. Configure View, Edit, and Manage permissions per role in "Settings > Users > Permissions," scoping access to all records or to records with specific tags. The same panel controls computer geolocation visibility per role — when disabled, location data is hidden across all profiles and explorers. Existing roles are migrated automatically. Geolocation visibility from v3.11 on all plans; People permissions from v3.17 on Starter and above.

From any custom explorer view, configure a scheduled export and connect the generated URL directly to Power BI or any other BI tool. Data refreshes automatically on your set schedule, no manual steps needed. From v3.16 onwards on Pro and above plans.

The Smart Recommendations panel now includes sort and filter controls. Sort by relevance or detection date, filter by category or highlight status, and star recommendations to track them across sessions. Each card shows a "first seen" date. From v3.16 onwards on Pro and above plans.

Asset custom fields are now visible and editable from the mobile asset detail view, using the same field types as desktop: text, number, date, list, and text area. From v3.17 onwards on all plans.
