What’s new at InvGate Service Management

Your IT team can automate onboarding with a new template (complete with subflows, tasks, conditionals and suggested integrations). Instead of having to design hardware, access, and provisioning steps from scratch, the employee onboarding workflow template has been updated to reflect new and improved capabilities. It now includes more sophisticated steps like subflows, tasks, and conditionals out of the box, giving teams a more complete starting point. From v8.15 onwards on Pro and Enterprise plans.

A new "End-User Delegated Approvals" setting allows administrators to specify which users appear in the delegation list when an end user schedules an absence. End-User Absences is now generally available with this feature. Available in v8.12 across all plans.

Execute native SharePoint actions triggered from any Workflow, such as updating list items and granting user permissions to a site or document. Connect the SharePoint Built-in Action Connector without the need for web services or calls to external APIs. Available in v8.12 for Pro and Enterprise plans.

The Google Workspace Built-in Action Connector in Workflows now includes a wider range of actions: editing, enabling, disabling, and resetting user passwords; removing users from groups; and editing or deleting groups. Available in v8.13 for Pro and Enterprise plans.

Custom approvals now support a third automation branch in addition to "Approved" and "Rejected," allowing you to define what happens when an approval is canceled. This branch runs for both manual cancellations and expirations, with the same action support as the other outcomes. Available in v8.13 across all plans.

A new Formula step allows Workflows to calculate expressions using arithmetic, logical, and comparison operators, as well as predefined functions such as SUM, AVERAGE, CONCAT, and DATEDIFF. Reuse the result in forms, conditionals, Web Services, and other steps to model cost calculations, weighted scoring, amount-based approvals, and date-based logic. Available in v8.13 for Pro and Enterprise plans.
