What’s new at InvGate Asset Management

Application Service discovery now covers Linux in addition to Windows. Detected services are created as CIs linked to the hosting machine and can be added to Business Application diagrams. From v3.9 onwards for Pro and Enterprise plans.

A new "Empty" filter operator is now available across all CI families and fields. Find assets with no warranty date, no purchase price, no serial number, no inventory ID, or any empty text, number, or date field, including custom ones. A new "Has local privileged users" filter in the Computers family shows you which Windows machines have users with administrator privileges. Two new columns in the Asset Explorer list which machines meet the condition and which users qualify. Use it to review and restrict admin access as part of a security audit or hardening process. Detect application services running on Windows computers and track them as CIs. A new “Application Service Discovery” tab lists detected services filtered by port and command name, linked to the hosting computer.
