New Built-in package: Install pending Windows updates

A new built-in package automatically installs all pending Windows updates and reboots the device after completion. This simplifies update maintenance for organizations without centralized patch management, ensuring better update hygiene across remote or hybrid fleets.
IT admins can now trigger reboot and shutdown actions remotely as part of the Software Deployment module. These can be executed manually, scheduled, or embedded into deployment workflows, helping prevent update failures and enforce compliance after deployments.
A new “Resources” tab in the Hardware section shows daily average CPU, RAM, and disk utilization for Windows computers. This data helps identify abnormal consumption trends or spikes across your environment and supports troubleshooting when devices show performance issues. With this new parameter, you can set up a new health rule, automation, dashboard and more.
Automatically assign the asset location based on the owner's location. For customers syncing users through integrations, this eliminates manual updates and ensures accuracy, especially in remote work scenarios where assets usually follow users.
Some column names in the Asset Explorer have been updated to make navigation and filtering more intuitive. For example, ‘Warranty Expiration’ is now ‘Warranty expiration date’. These changes improve searchability without affecting existing views or filters. If you use external automations based on specific column names, you may need to update them. Available from v2.40.
