The Asana built-in action connector reads work-management data as a workflow step: tasks, projects, workspaces, sections, tags, users, and the activity on a task. Every action is a read, so the connector brings Asana status into the process rather than writing to it.

When a service request depends on project work tracked in Asana, the service desk has no visibility into whether that work has moved, so the process either waits on a status chase or advances on an assumption.
